That, and coupled with the fact that it's survived all those years makes it a 5/5 for me. The DFGT doesn't fall short of more expensive wheels, it's just different, as the lower weight, smooth feedback, easy pedals, and ease of mounting are qualities I appreciate. More expensive wheels might be heavier, have snappier feedback, harder pedals, and require more space for mounting.
There's a wealth of buttons, and they're all place d as if a lot of forethought went into the design. How to make your old Logitech G25, G27, or Driving Force GT work on PS4 As you probably know if you’re on this page, Logitech wisely decided to not support any of their old racing wheels on PS4, only their new G29. One of the best features of the wheel is how comfortable it is, far more comfortable than the more expensive G29. The force feedback is great, I've always been able to feel the car, and it has enough power for me that I keep it under the strongest setting. You don't need the underside of your desk to be flat as the clamp is short, and the pedal resistance is soft enough to stay put without needing to be screwed into a rig. Even with the useless gearstick (which is easy to ignore), it's still a great and cheap product. My only complaint is the inbuilt sequential gearstick which feels tacky and has been so pointless that I've never used it over the gear buttons built into the back of the wheel.

That is adjusted and mapped below the force feedback sliders and the brake and gas sliders. Start button i have no use for it, it just puts me into the pause menu of the game.įor the left "pad" i use that for looking around. The button in the middle of it: Next Radio channelĪir Horn: The center GT glowy button(horn button), i dont use regular horn, it sounds like a prius or something. Now map the red dial on the wheel for Radio Channel Volume. Triangle: Navigation Modes(this toggles the nav hud, i prefer it off and use the dashboard nav, and only use the game hud nav when i need it logistically) Maniac5000 author 7:09pm Good luck Will, wish I could help with that. then I just clack it forward when i have to downshift many times.)
